Emily Zacek

Emily Zacek joined the DonorPerfect team as a copywriter in January, 2022. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2014 with degrees in flute performance and organizational studies, and her undergraduate thesis focused on labor activity trends in American arts nonprofits. She brings a decade of fundraising and nonprofit experience, including work in administrative support, annual giving, stewardship, events, community engagement, crowdfunding, and grateful patient fundraising. It is Emily’s hope that, by sharing her knowledge and ideas, she can help nonprofit workers live out their missions while achieving a healthy and sustainable work/life balance.

Emily enjoys spending time with her dog, cooking, hiking, reading, and engaging with the local arts scene, both as a participant and as a spectator.
