My name is Casey Richardson. My title is donor relations database manager, I work for global Lyme Alliance in Greenwich, Connecticut. And my organization raises funds for the research of finding a cure and a good test for Lyme disease. About 70% of our money goes to that the other 30% goes to awareness and programs and outreach. I started with the organization February of this year. And previous I used to know the donor database application for over five years. And I used to like that one more than attending this conference has really shown me what I didn’t know, I thought I knew how a database should be used. But attending this conference has really opened my eyes to the usability, the ease of usability, the amount of flexibility in your own approach. And when I get training next month, I will know what to ask because as I said before, I didn’t know what I didn’t know, the organization really has, was formed about May of 2015. Prior to that, there were two distinct organizations that were volunteered face. So we’re really new at what we want to do going forward previously, they basically raised their funds with two galleries, one in Connecticut, and one in New York, and they’ve been successful. But they we really want to branch out, we’re looking into doing more grassroots events where we push it down to volunteers that want to do shopping events, or cookie drives or races, because we just don’t have the staff to manage that. And they really want to expand like some direct mail some campaigns, some mailings, rather than depending on two events a year. Our board of directors are very active. So basically, they’re responsible for bringing in new donors, mainly through these two galleries. And having learned about the mobile app here at the conference, I think I’m going to be contacting a more active board of director members so that they can utilize it for their contacts, inputting notes, and putting it on prospects. Right now those prospects live in their agenda in their calendar, and we have no way of contacting them. So we’ll be using it much more. I have attended in my career, many conferences, but this is the first one that I really feel I’m learning so much, making new contacts, and I hope to be back next year. I would definitely recommend doing it. What it can’t do this morning, how John explained what it cannot do. It partners with great organizations and it with those affiliations and what DonorPerfect can do. It’s a total package for fundraising.
