with the new online forums, I can actually edit my GivingTuesday page in real time. To start, I’m going to add an image from my computer, and then I’m going to go to the style menu and use the eyedropper tool to add color to my background and buttons.
Today I’m using a GivingTuesday image with their brand colors for easy recognition. Then I’m going to give the form a title that matches my GivingTuesday cause making it clear where my donors money will go.
To include the GivingTuesday logo I can visit givingtuesday.org/logos. They also have Canva templates available for my social media graphics.
With click to type editing, I can add suggested giving amounts and additional text for both one time and monthly gifts. This helps explain our GivingTuesday goal and the impact it will create.
At a glance, donors will know exactly what their Giving Tuesday contribution will accomplish.
Under payment methods, I can integrate PayPal and Venmo making it easy for donors to give small first time and one time gifts. on Giving Tuesday we just want to inspire as many online gifts as possible no matter the size. I can also link my paypal business account or create a new one in seconds.
If I want to add custom fields to my form, like asking my donors where they want their gifts directed, I can just add a drop down and edit the values.
I can even ask the donors to offset my processing fees. By checking this box I’ll say yes as the default option. Next, I’ll add contact info to the bottom of my form and then I’ll publish it
once it’s published, I can edit the URL to make it shorter and more recognizable on GivingTuesday and mention it in my reminders and goal updates. Now I’m ready to share my form on my website social media, emails mailings virtually anywhere I want to solicit GivingTuesday gifts. Once giving Tuesday’s over I’ll report on all of the donor and gift information that was entered into my database via my DonorPerfect online forms.
